Awaiting a new Rogers!   Brandon and Mary met at Spruston Road Bible Camp in 1985.  Brandon was 9 and Mary was 11.  Mary's family began attending at the Delta Church of Christ in 1988 and their friendship began to blossom as they began going to youth group together and when Brandon was 15 and Mary was 17 they began dating.  They built a wonderful friendship and set an example to many as they grew in their relationship.  On March 13, 1996 Brandon organized a trip to Alice Lake while Ashley was home from ACU on spring vacation.  On a hike around the lakes, they visited the tree where Brandon and Mary had carved their initials several years earlier at a Delta Church Family campout.  Brandon got down on one knee and proposed to Mary in this very romantic setting.

Brandon and Mary currently live in beautiful White Rock, BC, Canada. Brandon was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 24, 1976 and is only minutes older than his twin brother, Ashley.  He has lived in BC since he was 4 years old.  Brandon began working in the recycling industry as a forklift driver in 1995.  Since then, he has worked his way up to become Plant Manager of the largest recycling facility in Western Canada (located in Surrey , BC ).  He currently manages 2 plants and over 20 employees.  Brandon is a hands-on type of learner and has also done a number of intensive educational courses and workshops during his career in order to stay abreast of relevant, new technology and management strategies.  As he and Mary look forward to the birth of their first child, his current goal is to be a good father and husband…and for the Raiders to win the Superbowl J.  His interests include: Raiders football, video games, video editing, camping and sports.

Sushi time!! Escanaba , Michigan on July 31, 1974 to Ruth and Charles Jame Michigan to Missouri when Mary was 8 years old, and then to Delta, BC when she was 9.  Since high school, Mary has completed a 2-year Therapeutic Recreation diploma program at Douglas College , a Bachelor of Arts degree from SFU, and just recently finished her Master of Arts degree in Gerontology, also from SFU.  Her area of specialty is health promotion for older adults.  Mary is Assistant Coordinator for a 5-year Cardiovascular Health research project, although she is currently on maternity leave.  Looking to the future, Mary plans to focus her time and energy into filling the role of mother to their first child (due to arrive any time!) and nurturing a healthy and happy family.  Her interests include: camping and travelling, football (Oakland Raiders fan), outdoor recreation (hiking, running, biking) and reading.

Love is in the air.
